Tegucigalpa’s Toncontín International Airport has a reputation among pilots for being one of the most dangerous places to land. At 1,863 meters, its single runway is one of the shortest international runways in the world. The biggest plane that can land there is the Boeing 757, and getting there requires flying dangerously close to the mountains. Here we present two videos, one taken from the cockpit of an airliner about to land, and the other from the mountain.

El Aeropuerto Internacional Toncontín, en Tegucigalpa, Honduras, tiene una reputación entre los pilotos por ser uno de los aeropuertos más peligrosos al aterrizar. Con tan solo 1,863 metros, es una de las pistas aéreas internacionales más cortas en el mundo. El avión más grande que puede aterrizar ahí es el Boeing 757, y llegar a la pista requiere volar a muy baja altitud cerca de las montañas.
