Cracked.com presents a collection of 7 popular viral videos that appear to be authentic at first look but in reality were staged, as well as a thorough explanation of how they were staged, and in most cases why they became so popular (usually due to our own morbid curiosity). I had actually never seen most of the videos, until now, so I guess I’m just as morbidly curious as everyone else. In any case, the lesson is to never believe what you see, however authentic it may look.

La página Cracked.com presenta una colección de 7 videos virales populares que a primera vista parecen ser completamente auténticos, pero en realidad fueron actuados. Tambien hay una explicación de como se hizo cada video y porque se hizo tan popular (por lo general gracias al morbo). Yo nunca había visto ninguno de los videos, hasta ahora, creo que soy igual de morboso que las 7 millones de personas que han visto algunos de esos videos. En cualquier caso, la lección es que nunca hay que creer lo que uno ve, por muy auténtico que parezca.

Los Wonders engage in another battle against Los Calaveras ::::: Los Wonders se enfrentan con los Calaveras de nuevo

Our namesakes in León, Guanajuato are at it again, fighting for their territory in an epic battle against Los Calaveras in the Chapalita neighborhood. And the neighbors are scared, really scared. The events in this article actually happened a few months before those in the previous article we mentioned here, we apologize for the lack of a chronological order in our reporting. This time, a Calavera was badly injured, the windshields of the few unlucky cars that happened to be parked in the area shattered, tires slashed and a few windows in neighboring houses broken by stray bricks. It was around midnight and the police never bothered to show up. Ironically, only a few hours earlier that day, the Minister of Public Safety had given a press conference during which he stated that a plan was already in the works to fight gang related crime.

Nuestros tocayos en León, Guanajuato, siguen con su épica batalla contra los Calaveras en una lucha por defender su territorio en la colonia Chapalita de esta localidad. Y los vecinos estan asustados, con mucha razón. Los eventos que este artículo describe en realidad pasaron antes que los que habíamos reportado anteriormente aqui, pedimos una disculpa por nuestra falta de un orden cronológico. Esta vez, un Calavera fue herido gravemente, los parabrisas de los pocos autos que se encontraban cerca quebrados completamente,  sus llantas ponchadas, y algunas ventanas de las casas vecinas quebradas por ladrillazos mal apuntados. Fue alrededor de la media noche cuando sucedió todo esto, y la policía nunca se molestó en presentarse. Irónicamente, unas diez horas antes del mismo día de los hechos, el Secretario de Seguridad Pública había anunciado en una rueda de prensa que ya se tenía identificado el problema de las pandillas y se estaba trabajando en un plan para combatirlo.
